The boys have taken interest in two people we see in Romania on a consistent basis. This lady isDoanma Geta. We see her every time we go to Cora to shop. The boys make sure we have a banana or an apple to give her. Yesterday the boys actually gave her some bani(money) they had found. For them, this is truly a gift of giving because they were going to use this money to buy gum.
The other person is a man we see in the metro. His name is Alexandru. The boys always make a point to stop and talk to him too. The other day they gave him the much prized cookies they had made with Auntie Teri. It was nice to see that they boys were so willing to do without eating the cookies themselves.
Doamna Geta is only 57 years old and lives somewhere close to Cora. I don't know much about Alexandru. I am guessing he is in his 40's .
Please pray for Geta and Alexandru. I know life is hard for both of them.
